As a bankruptcy attorney, one of my primary goals is to make the process as easy and painless for you as possible.  In order to do this I will be doing as much of the work as possible.  However, you will need to do a few things to get the process going.  I need you to complete 5 things.

1. My Free Consultation: The 1^st step begins when you call me for a free over-the-phone consultation.  In this phone call, I’ll get some basic information from you in order to help you determine whether you qualify for bankruptcy, which debts you can erase in bankruptcy, and which property you can keep.

2. Answer my Questionnaire: In order to get the full picture of your finances, you will need to fill out my questionnaire.  I know it is a bit detailed but this is critical in helping me prepare your bankruptcy petition.

3. 1-Hour Credit Counseling Class: In order for me to file your case you must take a credit counseling class.  You can take it over the Internet or by phone.  It costs $50.

4. Meeting of the Creditors: If you have answered all of your questions to me honesty and accurately then this meeting should take about 5 minutes.  The trustee, the person in charge of your case, will ask you a series of questions about your finances.

5. 1-Hour Financial Management Class: The final step is to take a financial management class.  You can also take this class over the Internet or on the phone.  It costs $50.

Once you’ve completed the 5 above items, you’re done!!  In just a matter of a few weeks after your last step, your unsecured debts (i.e. credit card debts) will be erased from your name forever.
